=== Vacation in Paris 3rd arrondissement ===
Anyone who books a Parisian vacation apartment in the 3rd arrondissement has a choice among numerous lodgings. In the district northeast of the inner city, stately residential buildings prevail. The oldest buildings stem from the 16th century. The district was settled already three centuries earlier under Charles V, however. With a little luck, a vacation apartment in Paris can be found in one of the city palaces called “Hôtels Particuliers.” The district Le Marais is especially well-known for its city palaces, which line the streets between the Place de la Bastille and the Place de la République. Not far from lodgings in the 3rd arrondissement, vacationers can visit the Museum for Jewish Art and History. The exhibition makes clear the significance for the district as a center of Jewish life in Paris.
If one chooses a vacation apartment in Paris, one should visit the Cathedral of Notre-Dame de Paris. The Cathedral was completed in the 14th century and disposes of an impressive rose window and two incomplete towers that offer magnificent viewing possibilities for the Seine, spanned by many bridges. Another church worth seeing is the art nouveau synagogue on the rue Pavée. Anyone who visits the French capital to enjoy museums will really appreciate a vacation apartment in the 3rd arrondissement. With a Museum of Parisian City History, an art gallery and a former home of Victor Hugo, the district offers a rich program of things to do.
