=== Mousehole Holiday Cottages ===
If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in the south-west of England, then why not consider one of our holiday cottages in Mousehole? Having been a small fishing village for as long as anyone can remember, Mousehole managed to retain its unique charm and character, even as Cornwall became an industrial force in the 20th Century. These days it’s something of a haven for tourists who return to the town year after year to take their mind off working life and relax with their friends and family. For many, the main attraction is the beach, which is situated in a sheltered part of the harbour. It might not offer the same kind of excitement as surfing on Newquay beach, but what you will get here is a safe, family friendly environment where you can just lay back and feel the sun on your skin. After an afternoon here, it’s easy to understand why the beach is one of the most popular attractions in Mousehole. Holiday cottages in this part of Cornwall are perfect for families young and old. The final vestiges of the Cornish language were found in Mousehole, which was home to its last recorded speaker, Dolly Pentreath, who died here in 1776. In addition to this, it is also the birthplace of the ‘stargazey pie’, an egg and potato pie with the heads of fish poking out through the pastry to gaze at the stars. Whichever way you look at it, there’s a great deal of local culture running through the beams of our holiday cottages. Mousehole is a great place to discover it. Pack your things and set off on a sun soaked holiday staying in our Mousehole Holiday Cottages.
