=== Lambeth holiday apartments === The lovely borough of Lambeth makes up south west London and is part of inner London. Lambeth is well connected on the underground with the Northern line running throughout. This means you can be in central London within a half hour. Lambeth is made up of some great areas, Clapham is the new place for your professionals to move. It has a buzzing nightlife and great transport into the centre. You also have Brixton, it hasn’t always had a great reputation but Brixton is slowly becoming a popular place for start-up shops and other exciting ventures. North Lambeth includes areas like Vauxhall, and the amazing Southbank, where the Tate, BFI and the Southbank centre are situated. West Norwood is home to Gypsy Hill, a quite but lovely area of Lambeth. Next door is Stockwell, home to London’s larges Portuguese speaking communities and where the first female black woman statue was erected. Last but not least is Streatham, an area filled with green spaces and commons. Lambeth has some great things to do: A resident recently set up a Mural Preservation society, plotting the painted walls and campaigning for their upkeep. Lambeth is filled with murals painted on the side of houses and buildings, some depicting political scenes and peaceful protests. If you can try to see the Brixton’s renowned "peace mural" Nuclear Dawn to the Stockwell Memorial Mural. As development is a constant thing in a growing city, it may not be long before its painted over, so don’t miss your chance to see it. In the hub of the hustle and bustle Brixton hosts a great market that Londoners from all over come to visit, there are endless exotic ingredients to buy and try, and some wonderful authentic cuisines to eat while you shop! Lambeth is a colourful and ever changing borough, it has great transport links and loads to do, it could just be the perfect place for you to bolt hole yourself for your London city break.
