The villa was built in 1930 by the furrier, Ch. Max Romahn. Today we live on the ground floor of the renovated residential building and rent out the two apartments on the upper floor and attic as holiday apartments.

We are looking forward to welcoming you in the green oasis surrounded by old trees in the middle of the city centre of Schkeuditz and only 15 minutes away from the centre of Leipzig. The romantic balcony with a view of the rose garden invites you to linger. Directly in front of the villa you will find two public parking bays where you can park your car.

Free WLAN. Smokers are very welcome and we ask you to make yourself comfortable on the balcony. Smoking is not allowed in the apartments. Parking spaces directly in front of the villa. Bed linen & towels are included in the price.

The light-flooded holiday flat in the upper floor of the old villa has its special charm by the romantic balcony and the old parquet floor. The first bedroom has a double bed and a table with two chairs. The second bedroom is a bit more spacious and has a double bed and a separate single bed with a suite. The fully equipped kitchen (fridge, microwave, toaster, stove, dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine) is integrated in an open living-dining area. The central centre of the apartment is comfortably furnished and invites you to cook, eat and linger. Through the large window front you also have the exit to the romantic balcony with a view of the rose garden. The bathroom offers a lot of space and has a shower as well as a bathtub.

From the first moment we fell in love with the beautiful villa and took it over in spring 2019. We live on the ground floor and enjoy every minute on the park-like property with the old trees. In our spare time but also professionally we travel a lot ourselves and are happy to offer the two apartments on the upper floor and attic to guests in the periods in which we do not need them ourselves or are no longer rented as a furnished apartment.

The Villa Romahn is located on a park-like property in the centre of Schkeuditz and at the gates of Leipzig. You will find all shops for your daily needs on the Rathausplatz which is only 200 m away. We are not far away from the Schkeuditzer motorway junction and therefore in only a few minutes on the A9 or A14. The S-Bahn station is about 500 m away and within walking distance and the tram stop directly on Rathausplatz is only 200 m away. The airport Leipzig/Halle is reachable in approx. 10 minutes by car. Leipzig: Whether shopping, sightseeing or working - the centre of Leipzig is only 15 km away. The best way to reach the market place is by S-Bahn in only 16 minutes. You are also welcome to use the tram to discover even more of Leipzig, or to take a relaxed ride in by car. The sporty ones can ride their bicycles along the well developed cycle paths along the `Weißen Elster´ and over the Auenwald to Leipzig.

In the attic we have another holiday apartment for up to 6 guests. Thus, a total of up to 11 guests can be accommodated. Long-term tenants are always welcome and will make you an individual offer with special prices.
