The bright holiday flat Ely is located in a modern house in Mezzegra, a popular holiday resort on Lake Como.
The flat is located at a fork between a road and a quiet cobbled lane. There is parking below on the street, from where you can walk up the alley and enter the property via the garden, which is furnished with lounge chairs and a table. From the garden, external stairs lead up to the first floor where the flat is located. From the living room, you can access a fantastic panoramic balcony at the front. One floor higher is the roof terrace with a breathtaking view of the lake and mountains in all directions, equipped with deckchairs for relaxing hours.
On entering the flat, you enter the rooms via the hallway on the mountain side. The living area with kitchen, two sofas, dining table and TV faces the lake. One of the sofas can be used as a sofa bed for two people. The modern bathroom with two washbasins, shower, WC and bidet is located on the mountain side. Next to it is the double bedroom.
The nearest beautiful beaches and bathing opportunities are in the surrounding villages, approx. 3-5 km away. These include a beautiful free park in Tremezzo with a bistro pavilion and well-kept lawn for sunbathing and playing with direct access to the lake via steps, the Lido di Lenno lido, other public beaches in Lenno, e.g. next to the Hotel San Giorgio, and the Lido Giardino lido in Menaggio.
The holiday flat is within walking distance of the small lakeside centre with piazza, bar and short lakeside promenade. There is also a small supermarket just down the road.
You can start the famous Greenway del Lago directly from the residence on foot or by mountain bike (hiking trail over approx. 10 km, mostly on paths above and partly on roads and lakeside paths through the villages of Colonno, Sala Comacina, Ossuccio, Lenno, Mezzegra, Tremezzo and Griante, following the old Via Regina).
The friendly owner family lives below the flat. The owners run a pizzeria in the village and are happy to invite you to a cosy pizza evening. However, we would like to ask our guests not to have loud parties on the roof terrace and to be considerate of the neighbours and quiet from 22:00 in the evening.
There are plenty of public car parking spaces for residents directly below the house.
E-car charging at the domicile is not permitted. Nearest public e-car charging station approx. 2 km away
